The Sport Science department at Boulder Center for Sports Medicine comprises biomechanics, exercise physiology, sports nutrition, group training classes, and coaching programs. Together, these areas provide our clients with state of the art testing and consultation services that help them improve their performance, prevent injury, and enjoy their training. Designed to emulate an Olympic Training Center, the Sport Science department features biomechanical testing such as 3D and video running and cycling gait analysis; physiology testing such as VO2 max and lactate threshold testing, anaerobic power and calorie use testing; nutrition consultations and evaluations; training consultations, coaching services and group classes led by expert coaches. These services help weekend warriors to train smarter and prevent common training injuries. Elite and recreational athletes use sport science testing to help them reach their maximum potential, regardless of their goals.
