Boulder Community Hospital provides comprehensive orthopedic services that support the patient from diagnosis through complete recovery.  Whether you plan to visit us for a quick outpatient procedure or a major reconstruction, our specialists will help you determine which of our resources will benefit you. We will be at your side to see that you achieve full health and functionality.

We are very proud that BCH is ranked in the top 10% nationally for orthopedic care by the CareChex quality rating service.  The reason is our exceptional doctors, outstanding nurses and therapists, and the latest clinical technology.

The BCH Orthopedic Team consists primarily of orthopedic physicians, physiatrists, podiatrists, nurses, physical therapists and occupational therapists. We treat the full spectrum of musculoskeletal issues, including:

  • Traumatic injuries
  • Post-traumatic deformities
  • Degenerative and inflammatory conditions
  • Congenital defects
  • Neurological problems
  • Sports injuries
  • Spinal conditions

Our orthopedic surgeons represent a wide variety of expertise. They structure each patient's care plan to fit his or her specific situation. Treatment always begins with medical diagnostics and counseling. X-rays, CTs and MRIs are imaging techniques performed at BCH that assist with diagnosis. Recovery and injury prevention are priorities. In your case, this may require medications, braces, casts or other therapies such as exercise, physical therapy, massage, steroid injections or surgery.
