Charles Jones, M.D. Dr. Charlie Jones is a board-certified general surgeon with extensive experience in vascular, thoracic (chest), and general procedures. He has special expertise in laparascopic surgical procedures. He has been treating patients for more than 25 years. He received his bachelor’s degree (with honors) from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. His internship and residency were completed at the University of Colorado Hospital in 1980. Dr. Jones is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Boulder County Medical Society and Colorado Medical Society. Dr. Jones has dedicated his life to health care in the broadest sense, traveling the world – from Africa to Mexico – on humanitarian medical missions. In 1990, he served as group doctor for a Boulder team climbing Mount Everest. He is married with three children. His hobbies include photography, golfing, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
